Fatburger Donating Meals To Healthcare Workers

Healthcare workers across the country have been on the frontlines of delivering care and saving lives throughout the Covid-19 crisis. They spend long hours at hospitals with little time for breaks. So Southern California-based Fatburger decided to load up its trucks and head out to provide free meals for healthcare providers. The brand is planning to cook more than 10,000 meals onsite at more than a dozen hospitals in the Southern California region this month.

"During this pandemic, healthcare workers are putting in incredibly long hours to provide care and comfort to the many people impacted by the coronavirus," said Andy Wiederhorn, president and chief executive officer of FAT Brands Inc. "We wanted to show our gratitude to these true heroes by cooking fresh, hot meals onsite, and to hopefully brighten their day."

This is not the first goodwill offering by Fatburger during the Covid-19 pandemic. The brand is also partnering with Planet Hope to feed local families in need at the Dream Center in Los Angeles.
